  7. The Product Configurator allows the configuration of a product during sales
  8. order entry or estimating.  The system maintenance allows for products to be
  9. defined specifying their components, operations and logical dependencies.  The
  10. Product Configurator is then used during sales order entry or estimate entry
  11. to produce a particular product configuration.  The operator is lead through a
  12. series of selection criteria and mandatory components are inserted.  Component
  13. options are presented and total price (and cost, if allowed) can be viewed.
  14. When complete, the configuration can be automatically pushed into a sales
  15. order or estimate.
